When the water droplets splashed my face

(Earlier this month I visited Manali (a very beautiful town in the Himalayas) the experience was mesmerizing, so the memories are. Lots of memories I have that I can't even describe at once. I was very close to nature, stayed in camp, went trekking, did paragliding, river rafting, and lots of other activities. This poem is about when we went trekking and that was for the first time I have seen a waterfall. )

The peace I felt while sitting near the waterfall

When the water droplets splashed my face,

It seemed all the negativity went off with the running water

And my life continued at a beautiful calm pace.

The sound of the waterfall seemed

As it has something to say

When looked around I found

Everything was behaving in the same way(had something to say)-

From the chirping of the birds

To the sound of trees,

Which came when the leaves collided

With the blowing breeze;

From the breeze, I remember

How amazing it was,

When my hair was swaying free

And it seemed like a pause.

A pause of calmness,

Unaware of worries,

to just feel the moment

And set yourself free.

By setting myself free

I discovered the difference between being alone and loneliness,

From which the first one means enjoying yourself.

To discover yourself

I would say nature is the best place,

Where you come to know what you exactly want

And what's just a meaningless race.

In nature, everything happens with grace

And this reminds me of 'The peace I felt while sitting near the waterfall

When the water droplets splashed my face'
